Description

Our 1934-1936 Chevy pickup chassis is an exact reproduction of the original frame shape and size for all light-duty, short-wheelbase trucks. Heavy gauge, fully boxed steel frame rails further strengthened with an X-member provide a solid foundation for a modern street rod. We can build yours with a traditional axle front end, or make it handle like a modern sports car with independent front and/or rear suspension systems. For an independent front, the Heidt's Mustang II is a good choice for both value and high-performance but an upgrade to a Kugel Komponents IFS is available for even more 'show and go'. In the rear, we spec this truck chassis with a strett-rod specific set of lowered leaf springs that compliment drop axle or drop spindle front ends. A triangulated 4-bar and/or air bags are optional upgrades.

The following describes our 'standard' Complete Rolling Package that can be used as a starting point for planning your custom build. Each chassis is built to your specs and we can typically accommodate special requests or build features - just ask!
