An original T chassis is a great piece of automotive history, but it isn’t suitable for a hot rod. For this body style, we recommend starting your project with a reproduction Model A frame. This provides a strong, safe, chassis with more room for a modern V8, exhaust and driveline components. The Model T bodies will fit on this chassis with minor modifications to the fender and running board brackets. To further enhance the stance, and lower the ride-height of your T, we recommend kicking up the rear crossmember a minimum of 3”. This gets the back of the T down for a proper street rod stance but will require cutting the floor in your body.

  • rear frame section will be kicked up 3” and rear crossmember will be built over top of the axle housing. Modifications to your floor will be required.

    • tubular A-arms, billet coil over shocks, disc brakes sway bar, rack and pinion steering
