The original Model A frame is a simple, effective design well suited to performance improvements for street rodding. Our chassis maintains the stock dimensions, but modifications our possible depending on your build ideas. We generally recommend kicking up the rear crossmember a minimum of 3” to enhance the car’s rake, and lower the ride-height of your body. This gets your A down for a proper street rod stance but will require cutting the floor in your body.
Another popular option for the Model A bodies is to mount it to a slightly-modified ’32 Ford chassis. Please see the 1932 Ford chassis section for details and pricing for this chassis.
