Superior Glass Works 1932 Ford Bodies The ’32 Ford. In any body style, from bone-stock original to radical hot rod, it’s a classic. Superior Glass Works offers FIVE '32 Ford fiberglass bodies:
We have been serving rodders for over thirty years producing the highest quality fiberglass bodies and custom chassis. Each '32 Ford body is built with hand-laid fiberglass – no chopper gun ever! – and reinforced throughout the body with corematt for added strength and stiffness.
Our custom '32 Ford chassis is built with premium heavy guage stamped rails and each is built to your custom specifications in our own shop. From just a bare '32 Ford frame to a complete rolling chassis. Traditional solid axle to high-tech front and rear independent suspension. We can build the right foundation for any of the above Deuce bodies.
Some customers often ask for a “1932 Ford kit car”. Our body and chassis packages are far from what most people may envision when thinking of a kit. We’re not talking about a box of parts! At Superior Glass Works we fully assembly each hot rod body with a steel inner structure, hinge and latch the doors, and install the power windows (if applicable). If requested, the full fender package can be installed as well as options like wipers or an AC unit. When you purchase a Complete Rolling Package, it is delivered on wheels and tires (usually 'donut' spares - nothing fancy!) ready to roll into your shop to finish.
The Legend... Hot rod lore says there are more 1932 Fords on the road today than Henry original produced 75+ years ago. Why? Because this one-year-only body and chassis style have grabbed the hearts and souls of car buffs since it was introduced. It has been built by generations of rodders in any and every style imaginable: traditional post-war hot rod; high-tech billet; full-fendered classic cruiser; or a modern, luxurious, well-mannered street rod. Since original steel bodies are either not available or exorbitantly expensive, an industry was born. Reproduction bodies – sometimes called replicas or kit cars – and reproduction chassis have been manufactured for decades to meet the need of those wanting to build and drive a ’32. |
