Heidts Mustang II IFS kit

We have had great success with the Heidts Mustang II IFS and we routinely install it in the 1947-55 1st-series Chevy pick up chassis that we build in our shop.  It is an excellent choice for your fat-fendered Chevy street rod for improved braking, handling, ride quality, and looks.  Narrowed control arms are highly recommended for better wheel fitment and likewise the 2” drop spindles yield the right hot rod stance.  Manual rack and pinion steering is standard, but power steering is a recommended option for these big cars. 

Heidt’s Mustang II kits come complete with crossmember, paintable tubular upper and lower full A-frame style control arms, 11” five lug rotors, bearings and seals, springs, shocks, stock 2” drop spindles, GM calipers with brackets and pads, manual rack and pinion with tie rod ends and bushings, rubber spring cushions, spindle nuts w/washers, and all mounting hardware.
