Kugel Komponents IRS

The Kugel Komponents Independent Rear Suspension is without question the finest suspension you can put under your street rod.  Designed and built to function as good as it looks, the Kugel family has been using these same parts on their own 225 mph ’32 Ford Bonneville racer.  The Kugel IRS is our 1^st choice for an independent rear end when building any chassis in our own shop and we are confident in recommending them. 

Included in each Kugel IRS is:  Everything! Control arms, coil-over shocks, crossmember with upper shock mounts (custom for your application), Ford 9” 3^rd member, inboard disc brakes with Corvette calipers and Wilwood rotors, pinion support bars and brackets.  Each is built to-order in the exact hub-width needed for your project.  Best of all, the Kugel Komponents IRS comes Fully Assembled!! It shows up in ONE big box with only the crossmember and pinion support brackets to weld.

Base IRS – Includes tubular, painted, control arms and unfinished steel hardware - $5100

Many available upgrades including:

Show Package – adds polished stainless steel control arms and EVERY component and all hardware is chromed or polished stainless.  The ultimate for any show car – $2,425

Cast Show Package – same as above, but adds the best looking control arms in street rodding.  These cast arms have a squared look to them with recesses cast into their surface - $2,725
