Designed from the ground up for street rods with custom spindles and control arms, the Heidts Superide IFS provides improved looks and ride quality over the Mustang II units. We have installed many of these in the 1932 Ford chassis we build in our shop and are confident in recommending them. It is an excellent choice for your fenderless Deuce street rod with coil-over shocks, narrowed control arms, and polished Wilwood calipers standard and the custom spindles yield the right hot rod stance. Rear-mount manual rack and pinion steering is standard, and usually sufficient for the '32 Ford, but power steering is an option.
Heidt’s Superide IFS kits come complete with crossmember, paintable tubular upper and lower full A-frame style control arms, 11” five lug rotors, bearings and seals, adjustable billet coil-over shocks, spindles, polished Wilwood calipers with brackets and pads, manual rack and pinion with tie rod ends and bushings, rubber spring cushions, spindle nuts w/washers, and all mounting hardware.

Please add these to the Notes section of your order or call and order by phone.
Even if you are keeping the fenders on your street rod, the Mustang II IFS is not a good choice as the upper spring and control arm towers interfer with the fenders. If a top-of-the-line show car is in your plans, you can’t beat the looks and quality of the Kugel Komponents IFS. Not sure what is best for your project? Call and ask for our expert advice. We don’t just sell them – we have been installing them for decades and can talk you through the pros and cons of each.
